Anatomy of a Story
Anatomy of a Story
Stories need a spine, flesh, and blood to jump off the page and live in the imagination of both the writer and reader. This eight-week course will offer an in-depth exploration of the anatomy of story, focusing on the five critical elements every story must have and their interdependence at the cellular level.
By the end of this course, students will possess a deep understanding of narrative structure and character, and how they work together to breathe life into story.
For both fiction and nonfiction writers.
Students will need to bring writing instruments (notebooks, laptops) and a wild imagination.
